Cabo San Lucas is widely recognized as a world class marine sports destination, offering a wealth of scuba diving and snorkeling tours and services.
Located at the southernmost tip of the Baja Peninsula, Cabo San Lucas is situated at the junction where the famous Land’s End archway separates the dazzling Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean. This geographic makeup provides idea water conditions all year, combining the sub-tropical options of the Pacific Ocean waters with the tropical waters of the Sea of Cortez.
Often dubbed “The World’s Richest Sea”, the Sea of Cortez is a rich ecosystem which hides unseen treasures below its crystal clear surface, the likes of which include caves, reefs and sand falls. 800 species of fish and thousands of invertebrate creatures make their home in this body of water.
The months running from June to December offer the greatest visibility for diving, which can extend beyond the 150ft. range. These months also offer the longest periods of calm weather and the warmest water temperature, topping out at 80-90 degrees.
